Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 September 2026

These are the terms that apply when you subscribe to QuickDiary ("we", "us"). By subscribing, you agree to them. They're written to be read, not to catch you out — if anything's unclear, email hello@quickdiary.co.uk.

1. The service

QuickDiary answers phone calls that you forward to it, speaks to your callers using the greeting you've approved, books appointments into a diary we run for you, shows those bookings in your phone's calendar, texts you a daily summary, and — if you've switched it on — sends your customers a short text asking for a review after a job. Calls answered by the service are recorded and transcribed in order to make the booking and keep a record of it for you.

2. Price and billing

3. Fair use and overage

Your subscription includes 200 minutes of agent talk time per month on the Standard plan, or 500 minutes on the Busy plan. If you go over, it's billed automatically at £1 per minute — but never as a surprise: you'll get an email at least 3 days before your renewal date if you're on track to go over, and any overage charge only happens after your current billing period has closed, so the warning always arrives first.

4. Setting up, and what we need from you

5. Availability

We run QuickDiary with reasonable skill and care, but it depends on phone networks and third-party providers (such as Telnyx, OpenAI and Stripe), and no phone service is perfect. We don't guarantee that every call will be answered or every booking captured, and short interruptions can happen — for example during maintenance or a provider outage.

6. Liability

If we get something wrong, our total liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you've paid us in the three months before the issue. We're not liable for indirect losses — for example lost profits from a missed booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law.

7. Ending the service

You can cancel any time through your billing portal or by emailing us. We can suspend or end a subscription that breaks these terms — particularly section 4 — or that's used unlawfully, and we'll tell you why if we do.

8. Your information

How we handle personal information — yours and your callers' — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes and law

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and tell subscribers by email; changes won't remove a locked-in promotional price while your subscription stays active. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
